The Museum of Asian Art is located in the historical centre of Corfu. It is accessible from the port by bus No2: Mantouki-Kanoni.

Persons entitled to discounted entrance fee during the entire year

REDUCED ADMISSION FEE

  1. Greek citizens and citizens of other EU member states aged 65 and over, from October 1st to May 31st each year.
  2. Accompanying parents during educational excursions of primary education schools from EU and EEA member states.
  3. Accompanying teachers during educational visits of schools and institutions of primary, secondary, and tertiary education from non-EU countries.
Persons entitled to free entry

The following categories of visitors are entitled to free admission:

  1. Children and young people up to 25 years old from EU member states.
  2. Children up to 18 years old from non-EU countries.
  3. Trainees over 25 years old attending secondary education schools (evening schools, second-chance schools, vocational high schools – EPAL) and vocational schools (EPAS, OAED) in EU and EEA member states.
  4. Accompanying teachers and trainees during educational visits of schools and institutions of primary, secondary, and tertiary education from EU member states.
  5. Participants in the Social Solidarity Income (KEA) program and their dependents.
  6. Holders of a domestic unemployment card.
  7. Persons with disabilities (67% or more), as well as one accompanying person.
  8. Parents of large families residing in Greece (until the youngest child reaches 25 years of age).
  9. Parents of three-child families residing in Greece (until the third child reaches 25 years of age).
  10. Parents of single-parent families residing in Greece (until the youngest child reaches 25 years of age).
  11. Refugees.
  12. Persons performing military service.
  13. Olympic medalists.
  14. Official guests of the Greek government.
  15. Holders of ICOM and ICOMOS cards.
  16. Members of associations and societies of Friends of Archaeological Sites and Museums.
  17. Active employees of the Ministry of Culture, ODAP, etc.
  18. Special scientists granted permission (photography, study, etc.).
  19. Members of visual arts workshops in Greece (with a valid membership card).
  20. Domestic tour guides and students of tour guide schools under the Ministry of Culture.
  21. Journalists.
  22. Holders of a free admission pass.
  23. Members of the Association of Greek Art Historians.

Programs for Schools

The Museum of Asian Art in Corfu runs educational programs for students at primary and secondary school, and guided tours for schools and clubs upon request.

Disabled People

The museum is equipped with ramps (exterior and interior) and a lift for access to the exhibition spaces as well as specially adapted toilet facilities.

Ιn addition, people with sight problems may become acquainted with the Asian civilization through the use of a multilingual audio guide system in combination with digital signage and short captions in Braille writing which provides the necessary information for the Palace of Saint Michael and Saint George, as well as for exhibits of the Museum.
